What to do...

What to do? Coming to the realization that I am not getting any younger and the things I want in life-well I have to make them happen. Grateful that I have a job but no matter how hard I try, I just don't see myself having a future there. It can be at times stifling and drama-filled and I find my creativity wanes instead of waxes. (Love me some Moon-Goddess lingo). Its time to truly figure out my path and to plan out my journey. Trade in the business suit for a life in fancy jeans and comfy blazers. What to do? Just do.

Huh?

Random this and that...(spoilerishy)

1. Watched a new episode of 'Bones' tonight. Haven't seen it in a while, though I do catch the reruns on TBS sometimes. A bit confused. Did Brennan hit her head or something last season? She seems to have reverted to the season one version of herself. Very weird. Funniest line of tonight's episode goes to Doc Brennan "...a gathering of Guidos..." LOL-yo.

2. Sebastian Roche returns to GH this December. (Possibly. I say "possibly" because in the last couple of years, the head honchos of GH have gotten into the habit of announcing a storyline (more evil Cassadines) or coming soon characters (Valentin? Zoe?) only to shelve it all indefinitely). I hope it does work out and "Jerry Jax" returns. He is a sleaze of a character and the show is lacking a true villain. Bring it on.

3. The best show you're not watching? One Life to Live. Seriously. Watch it. Spoiler-free. There are like 400 characters on the show right now and yet the writers manage to use all of them. Pretty balanced mix of young & seasoned actors/characters. Uses its history pretty well. (Are you listening GH honchos?)

Where credit is due:
1. Bones-Thursdays on FOX
2. Roche-Soapnet.com
3. Me. Watching OLTL-weekdays on ABC/nights on Soapnet

Been a while...

Sheesh. Been a long time since I have written here. Life just got itself all caught up and I haven't known in some time whether I was coming, going, or already been there.
There has been sickness, death, marriage, births, losses of jobs, just chaos, chaos, chaos.

But that's life, right?

John Lennon sang "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans".

So, trying to find some cohesion in life and plans. Gain some control and make a positive momentum. I am tired of just streaming along the river, I want the paddle and I want to steer where I am going for a change!

I am getting to an age that both haunts and thrills me and I want to start living my life before my life starts living me.

I am taking control of my sanity, my family desires, my health, my career, etc, etc so look the f. out!!!

I will feel sorry for whoever gets in my way, but only just enough to keep me humble.

Huh. Humble. Makes me think of humble pie. Which makes me think of pie. Mmmm...pie!

Its not just another Monday in January

It is Martin Luther King Jr. Day (well actually his birthday was Jan 15). It is important to recognize King and the work he did, the accomplishments he made. I just want to take time today and recognize that the world is a better place because for a while, too short a while, one man made a difference.
